Rotherham will hope to finally play a game when they welcome struggling Darlington to the Don Valley Stadium.

The Millers have not taken to the field since their December 12 win at Bradford, with all six of their subsequent fixtures wiped out by the weather.

Adam Rundle has left the club to return to Rochdale since then while Jason Taylor has also agreed to spend the rest of the season with the Spotland outfit.

Nick Fenton is suspended, with the defender still having two of his four-game ban left to serve.

Veteran playmaker Paul Warne is set to miss a further six weeks with a foot injury but Andy Liddell is back in light training following an Achilles injury.

Darlington manager Steve Staunton is expected to name a new-look starting line-up with several players poised for debuts.

Staunton drafted in four players last week to make it six new arrivals at the Northern Echo Arena since the turn of the year and former Quaker Alan White, fellow defender Simon Madden, midfielders Chris Dempsey and Gareth Waite and strikers Tadgh Purcell and Patrick Dean are all in contention.

Former Leeds and Middlesbrough striker Noel Whelan will also return for Darlington but Dan Groves (foot), Mark Bower and Steve Foster (both ankle) are still sidelined.

Darlington's scheduled fixture on Saturday at home against Aldershot was their sixth successive postponement while Staunton's side are chasing only their third league win of the season.
