Shrewsbury hit back from a goal down to sink Hereford 3-1.
The Bulls, seeking their third consecutive win over their neighbours, went ahead after five minutes when Leon Constantine easily shrugged off Graham Coughlan to lash a 15-yard drive past David Button.
But Hereford were shaky at set pieces and Kelvin Langmead headed in after four consecutive corners in the 14th minute.
A Craig Disley free-kick was then nodded home by Shane Cansdell-Sherriff to put the Shrews ahead after 23 minutes.
Jake Robinson's header hit the bar after the break but Town grabbed their third when Coughlan netted 10 minutes from the end.
