Shrewsbury have eased their goalkeeping crisis with the capture of David Button on loan from Tottenham until the start of January.

Shrews boss Paul Simpson has been working around the clock to bring in another keeper to compete with 19-year-old Andreas Arestidou after Chris Neal was recently ruled out for six weeks with a broken finger.

Glyn Garner in the treatment room, so Simpson has turned to Button to provide cover.



Button, 20, has previously enjoyed first-team experience with Spurs as well as loan spells at Bournemouth, Dagenham and Crewe and has been involved with England at all youth levels.
