Notts County midfielder Gavin Strachan hopes he has put his injury woes behind him after making a second-half substitute appearance against Bury on Saturday.

The 30-year-old has suffered three hamstring problems this season but returned to training a fortnight ago and played a late role in the defeat to the high-flying Shakers.

Strachan told the club`s official website: "I hope that`s it for me now. I really hope we`ve finally sorted out the problem and I will continue to do my injury prevention work to ensure I`m in good condition."

He added: "I just want to put it all behind me now and concentrate on the future. I feel I still have a lot to offer.

"I look after myself and I hope I can finally show what I can do."
