League One pace-setters Port Vale knocked Championship outfit Preston out of the Carling Cup thanks to goals from Akpo Sodje and Leon Constantine.Sodje gave Vale the lead just after the break and Constantine scored the winner after Simon Whaley had equalised for North End.The pair have now scored nine of their club´s 10 goals this season as Martin Foyle´s side made it five wins out of five this term.
