Wycombe have confirmed the signing of Peterborough defender Chris Westwood on a two-year contract.

The former Walsall centre-half becomes the Chairboys` third signing of the summer and will replace David McCracken in the back four after he joined MK Dons.

Manager Peter Taylor said: "I'm delighted to have signed Chris. He's got good experience and is a good talker on and off the field."

He added: "He is exactly what we needed after losing a couple of experienced players over the summer."
