Young West Brom midfielder David Worrall has joined Shrewsbury on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old has made three appearances for the Baggies' reserves this season and has now moved to the League Two promotion hopefuls for a busy month with six fixtures for Paul Simpson's side.

Simpson told the Shrews` official website: "He's a player I have seen a lot of this season playing in their reserves and in pre-season. He's an enthusiastic footballer who has good technical ability and I just feel that we need a little burst of enthusiasm and some legs in there who will make a difference for us."

He added: "I want to look at him working around our first team and if he comes in and impresses as I'm hoping then we will look to extend it."
