Second-placed Wycombe missed the chance to cement their automatic promotion place in npower League Two as they were held to a goalless draw by Hereford at Edgar Street.

Late goals from Terry Gornell and Phil Edwards sent Accrington Stanley soaring into the play-off places with a 3-1 win over Southend, who had defender Bilel Mohsni sent off six minutes from time.

Ryan Hall had earlier cancelled out Ian Craney's opener.



Burton and Northampton fought out a tense 1-1 draw which leaves both sides with relegation worries.

Guillem Bauza put the Cobblers ahead after 39 minutes, but Aaron Webster levelled four minutes later.

James Hanson's first-half effort earned Bradford a 1-0 win at Macclesfield.
