Cheltenham boss Mark Yates has revealed he is hopeful of bringing Blackpool defender Ashley Eastham back to the club.

The 18-year-old impressed during a one-month loan spell with the Robins and had agreed a deal to stay for a second month before being recalled by the Championship side.

"I will be speaking to Ian Holloway (Blackpool boss) to see if we can get him back," Yates told www.thisisgloucestershire.co.uk.

He added: "He is delighted that he may get his chance back at Blackpool, but I believe they are looking into the loan market and if something comes of it, we will go back and ask if we can have him for another period.

"Ashley is strong, athletic, decent in the air and he has enjoyed himself with us."
