The winner of Grimsby Town FC F.I.T.C Sports and Education Trust 'Achiever of the Year 2008' is Portsmouth fan Jake Storr.
 
Jake, a pupil at Holton Le Clay junior school, has attended numerous activities and always shown a great attitude and application to the session being undertaken.
 
Jake is seen here receiving a Portsmouth shirt signed by FA Cup Final scorer and his favourite player, Kanu.  Grimsby Town manager Mike Newell is presenting the shirt to Jake supported by Mariners' players Phil Barnes and Rob Atkinson.

Also in attendance are Grimsby Town FC F.I.T.C Sports and Education Trust staff, Graham Rodger, Mark Westerby, Ray Blain and university placement Alec Playle.
 
Community Manager, Graham Rodger, stated: “It was fantastic to present Jake with the shirt and for Jake to achieve his level of participation is an inspiration to all of us”.
