Sport2Business in association with The Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, Leeds
Metropolitan University and the British Athletes Commission personally invite you to
an elite ‘Athletes Networking Evening’.

It will be an informal social evening to meet and network with a variety of top employers (from both the sports and commercial sectors) that are keen to engage with elite athletes.

You will also be able to speak with retired sports people who are working within these organisations.

The event will be held on:

Tuesday 24th March 2009: 6.30pm to 9.00pm

Venue: Ghandhi Hall, Leeds Metropolitan University, Headingley Campus, Leeds LS6
3QS.

Refreshments will be provided and there will be no cost to you to attend the evening.  This
event sits within the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust first national event aimed at retiring
and retired elite sportspeople.  Therefore Dame Kelly Holmes has kindly agreed to introduce
the event and we will share up to three successful case studies with you.

This is an outstanding opportunity to meet and network with commercial and sporting
organisations, whether you are an already retired, a retiring or a current elite athlete.  The
companies and organisations attending are already receptive to the transferable skills of
committed athletes.

S2B will follow up after the evening where there is mutual interest between athletes and
companies/sports organisations.

RSVP to: ruthwilletts@sport2business.com
or telephone 0121-705 0412 by 17th March, providing your name, sport and a contact number

Dress Code: Smart casual
