Alan Bennett is a tall central defender who captained Brentford to the League Two title in 2008-09 while he was on loan from Reading.
Alan is a commanding centre half who went on to sign for the Bees on a permanent basis in the summer of 2009. He is a Republic of Ireland international who made over 100 appearances for Cork City, where he combined playing with working as a milkman before moving to Reading.
