Charlie MacDonald is in his second season with Brentford having signed for the Bees in the summer of 2008.
He is a prolific scorer, being something of a goal poacher, and was the club's top scorer in the Bees League Two championship winning campaign last season despite missing several weeks through injury.
Charlie began his career with Charlton Athletic and made his debut while at The Valley before playing for a number of non-league clubs until he was given a second chance with Southend United.
