Fraizer Campbell is an exciting young centre forward playing for Sunderland, who he joined in the summer of 2009.
Fraizer was a precocious talent at junior and reserve levels at Manchester United, scoring freely as he progressed through the ranks. A subsequent season at Royal Antwerp produced 21 goals, and his desire to play first-team football led to a season's loan at Hull, where his goals led the Tigers to a play-off final and promotion.
Frazier's aerial ability and electric pace, along with a willingness to shoot with either foot, made him a target for Spurs, and his season loan at White Hart Lane was part of the deal that took Berbatov to Old Trafford.
His first Premiership goal came against Fulham in November 2008, following two against Liverpool in the League Cup. Despite interest from Hull, Fraizer signed for Sunderland after the Euro 2009 U21 tournament, and scored his first goal against Birmingham in the Carling Cup, following that with two headed goals against Barrow in the FA Cup.
Injuries to Kenwyne Jones have allowed Fraizer to forge a promising partnership with Darren Bent, and the understanding between the two has grown quickly.
He has won 14 caps for England U21s, scoring four goals.
