Gary Cahill is a composed and elegant central defender for Bolton Wanderers.
An influential figure in the Wanderers’ defence he provides an effective physical presence and is particularly strong in the air. Gary was a fixture in the club’s Premier League line-up last term, when he produced a series of consistent, solid performances and this term he has played every minute of the opening fixtures.
Gary has already been called up to Fabio Capello’s full England squad but has yet to win his first international cap. In 2008-09 he was Bolton’s Players’ Player of the Year.
