Graham Alexander is an experienced midfield player on the books of Burnley.
He has been an influential figure for the Clarets since signing in the summer of 2007 and was an ever-present as the club fought their way to promotion from the Championship via the play-offs in 2008-09. This term too he has yet to miss a match in the Premier League, scoring his first goal of the season against Sunderland at Turf Moor.
Graham began his career at Scunthorpe as a right-sided midfield player, later switching to right back, but in the last couple of seasons he has mostly been used in a central-midfield defensive role.
A veteran of more than 850 senior appearances, Graham had to wait until he was in his 30s before making his international debut for Scotland, but he has been a regular in the squad ever since and won his 40th cap against Macedonia in September.
