Liam Ridgewell is a left-footed central defender for Birmingham City.
Tall and commanding, he is excellent in the air and packs a powerful shot. Liam began his senior career with local rivals Aston Villa, making the switch to St Andrew’s in the summer of 2007.
Liam was a key figure for Blues in their 2008-09 promotion campaign, but suffered a bad leg injury against Plymouth in the closing weeks of the season.
However, he made a remarkably quick recovery and returned to action at left back in the Carling Cup third-round tie with Sunderland in September.
