Mikkel Andersen is a young goalkeeper who signed for Reading in January 2007. Mikkel, who has been capped by Denmark at U21 level, is third-choice 'keeper for the Royals and has yet to make his first-team debut for the club.
He has gained experience during loan spells making his League debut in December 2008 when he appeared for Brentford. Mikkel, who is a physically imposing 'keeper, was loaned to Bristol Rovers in September 2009 and played regularly for the League One club during his time at the Memorial Ground.
