Nigel Reo Coker is an Aston Villa midfielder. He began his career with Wimbledon then moved to West Ham before joining Villa in July 2007.
Nigel is known for his tough tackling and man-marking ability, having made almost 300 senior appearances. A central midfielder who has also played at right back and on the right side of midfield, Nigel has been used mainly as a squad player this season although he did captain the side during the pre-season Peace Cup tournament in Spain. Nigel made 23 appearances for the England U21 team and was team captain for the 2007 UEFA U21 championships in which England reached the semi-finals.
