Zesh Rehman is a tall central defender who has settled down well since arriving at Bradford City.
His loan move was made permanent in the summer of 2009 and he has established himself as a regular first-team player, captaining the team in the absence of Peter Thorne.
Zesh is one of the few Asian players appearing regularly in senior English football.
He started out at Fulham where he progressed through the youth team and reserves to make his Premier League debut at Liverpool in 2004, the first player of South Asian origin to appear in the competition.
Zesh represented England at U19 and U20 level but has since chosen to play for Pakistan at senior level and captains his country's team. He is an Ambassador for England's 2018 World Cup bid and performs a similar role for the Asian Football Network
