Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is preparing to reignite his interest in Real Madrid teenager Pablo Sarabia.

The Spanish youngster has been monitored by a handful of clubs in Europe, with Arsenal showing the most interest in the talented winger.

Yet to agree terms on a new five-year contract at the Bernabeu, Sarabia could leave the Spanish capital for free in the summer if terms can't be agreed.



Gunners youth chief Liam Brady reportedly made contact with Sarabia back in January, and the News of the World reported at the time that the north London side were first in line to sign the Spanish starlet.

Yet to make his debut for the senior side in La Liga, Sarabia has impressed in his appearances for Real Madrid Castilla, the reserve team who play in Segunda División B.

The Los Blancos youngster is a product of the club's youth policy, joining the club in 2004. The 17-year-old has since represented the Spanish national side at U16, U17 and U18 level. Indeed, it was his performances at the FIFA U17 World Cup that brought Sarabia to the attention of the public.Wenger has previously taken Fran Merida and Cesc Fabregas from Spain as youngsters, turning them into stars at the Emirates stadium. Sarabia could be next in line if the Frenchman gets the chance to bring the teenage talent to the Premier League.
