West Brom´s hopes of signing Argentinian midfielder Matias Almeyda could be dashed - with the player now considering retiring from football.Baggies manager Bryan Robson had been "100%" a fortnight ago that Almeyda would be moving to The Hawthorns.Thirty-one-year-old Almeyda was available on a free transfer after a fall-out with Serie A club Brescia.
