Danny Fox sealed Burnley's first Barclays Premier League win since October with a stunning second-half free-kick but the Clarets had to cling on for a 2-1 win over West Ham.

David Nugent lobbed the Clarets in front in the 14th minute and Fox appeared to have won it when he smashed home a superb 55th minute set-piece from wide on the right.

But substitute Ilan reduced the deficit 10 minutes from time and Mido came agonisingly close to rescuing a point for the Hammers when his low effort struck the post in stoppage time.
