New Juventus defender Jean-Alain Boumsong insists his time in England with Newcastle was "not as bad as people made it out to be" as he prepares to start life in Serie B.The 26-year-old France defender was Juve coach Didier Deschamps´ first choice to replace centre-back Fabio Cannavaro, who moved to Real Madrid this summer, and Boumsong admitted to feeling wanted by the Juve coach."They really showed a great desire to sign me, which went beyond the simple loan offers which was the case for all the other contacts I had," he explained on his own website.
