Djibril Cisse has signed a five-year contract with Marseille after leaving Liverpool.

The 25-year-old spent last season on loan with the French club and last week the Merseysiders gave the green light for the move to become permanent.

A statement posted on the Marseille website, www.om.net, read: "Djibril Cisse has signed this Monday a five-year contract with Marseille."
