Manchester City defender Micah Richards has recovered from a knee injury and was due to return to training on Tuesday.
Richards, 21, limped out of the victory against Chelsea on Saturday and there were fears he might face a spell on the sidelines. However he has made a quick recovery and should be in contention to face Bolton on Saturday at the Reebok Stadium.
"I heard a crack and then the knee gave way and for a moment I thought it was really serious," Richards told www.mcfc.co.uk.
"It was a bit of a worry because it was the right knee, the one on which I had an operation last season. But the pain subsided and fortunately I am fit to train again."
Meanwhile the club have confirmed that Wayne Bridge will be out for up to the three weeks with a medial ligament injury.
