Seamus Coleman is hoping that Norwich's attacking style will benefit Everton when the Canaries visit Goodison Park on Saturday.

The winger thinks that if the opposition come to attack then the Toffees will have more opportunities to score goals.

"If a team goes for it, then there are always going to be chances with spaces being left at the back," Coleman explained. "In these games you have to break these teams down and we will be hoping to do that."

The Irishman believes that all the promoted sides have been influenced by Blackpool's cavalier efforts in the Barclays Premier League last season which almost saved them from relegation.

"The teams that have come up this season haven't really sat back, they have gone for the wins and maybe Blackpool have given them the inspiration to do that.

"I've seen a bit of Norwich and I think they've done great. They've taken it in their stride and are playing the way they did last season.

"It definitely won't be an easy game but we will be hoping to win."

Coleman spent some time on loan at Bloomfield Road in the year the Tangerines got promoted, so he thinks he can judge the mood in the Norwich camp.

"I'm sure all their players are hungry for it in this league and are trying to prove themselves," he concluded. "They are keen to make their name in the top division which is probably why they've started so well."
