Deportivo La Coruna midfielder Andres Guardado has insisted that the reports linking him with a move to Tottenham and Fiorentina is pure speculation.
Reports have suggested that a number of cubs from across Europe are taking an interest in the 23-year-old, who will only consider his future after the World Cup.
Spurs and Florentina were credited with a move for the Mexican star last week but Guardado has been quick to set the record straight.
"Last week many things were said, some were invented and others were not," he told diario.com.mx.
"I am at Deportivo and don't want people to get me wrong, thinking I want to go away.
"(These rumours) should be taken with caution, there is still so much time to the end of the season and then there will be the World Cup and other important things for me."
Since signing for Deportivo in 2007, Guardado has made over 70 appearances for the cluub scoring eight goals.
