Fulham have completed the signing of New Zealand midfielder Simon Elliott on a free transfer from Columbus Crew.Elliott, who has amassed over 50 caps for his country, has agreed a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Cottagers and goes straight into the starting line-up for Sunday´s FA Cup third-round clash with Leyton Orient. The 31-year-old reached three Major League Soccer Cup Finals with Columbus Crew, the club which also supplied Carlos Bocanegra and Bryan McBride to Fulham.Elliott said: "Signing for Fulham is an exciting move for me as I have always had an ambition to play in the Premiership. There is a great spirit around the camp here and the players have all been very welcoming, so I am eager to establish myself in the squad and to play in this fantastic league."
