Premier League managers have called for Harry Redknapp to be appointed as the next England manager as the FA search for Fabio Capello's successor.

Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer have also voiced their support for Redknapp - who insists his focus is solely on Tottenham.

Redknapp is only concerned with the job at White Hart Lane amid rumours he could accept the England role on a part time basis until May.

The FA chairman David Bernstein yesterday insisted "all options are open", suggesting a short term appointment for Euro 2012 is possible.
