FA CUP FIFTH ROUND DRAW

By Dave Smith  January 27, 2003

Big guns drawn together as lesser lights face uphill challenges

The Fifth Round draw immediately paired Premiership giants Manchester United and Arsenal together whilst Rochdale's reward for beating Coventry in the last round is a tough trip to Molineux.

Norwich, Burnley, Watford and Walsall also have difficult away ties, but Sheffield United will fancy their chances of another extended cup run as they have been drawn at home against the Saddlers.

Stoke City have landed what seems the glamour tie of the round as they will host Chelsea at the Britannia and, if nothing else, the cash-strapped club will be guaranteed a bumper pay day - with the chairman no doubt hoping for a replay to follow.

THE FA CUP FIFTH ROUND DRAW

Manchester United v Arsenal

Southampton/Millwall v Norwich

Crystal Palace/Liverpool v Gillingham/Leeds

Wolves v Rochdale

Fulham v Burnley

Stoke v Chelsea

Blackburn/Sunderland v Watford

Sheffield United v Walsall

* Ties to be played over the weekend of February 15/16
