Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool are becoming more consistent and edging closer to Chelsea.The influential Reds midfielder expects the Barclays Premiership title race to be keenly fought next season.Gerrard said: "We have progressed a lot in the last year. The gap was 35 points last season, this time around we are better than half that. We have got a fantastic manager (Rafael Benitez), who is going to continue to build."
