Liverpool lost their second friendly in four days as they were defeated to 2-0 by Grasshoppers despite Steven Gerrard´s first match action since his World Cup penalty shoot-out misery.Gerrard came on for the final half hour and had enough chances to have rescued Liverpool from defeat in Zurich, having lost to Kaiserslautern in Liechtenstein at the weekend.But they were never able to recover from conceding two sloppy goals in a 13-minute first-half spell to Veroljub Salatic and David Blumer.
