Robin van Persie grabbed the winner that proved to be rough justice on Roy Hodgson’s side.Sunderland stormed to victory against Wolves in a game to miss for defensive coaches. The 5-2 scoreline was flattering, but Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones proved to be a dangerous pair. More misery was heaped on lowly Portsmouth, with Louis Saha grabbing the only goal for Everton at Fratton Park.Blackburn ran out winners against Aston Villa despite being reduced to 10-men. Vince Grella was sent-off in the second-half but David Dunn won it with a late penalty, while Bolton also grabbed victory away at Birmingham, with Chung Yong-Lee grabbing the winner after Kevin Phillips had equalised.
