Grygera denies Premiership links

By PA Sport  August 22, 2006
Ajax defender Zdenek Grygera has distanced himself from speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.

Spurs, who face Sheffield United at White Hart Lane on Tuesday night, were reportedly interested in Grygera but the player insists he does not see his future in the Barclays Premiership. The Czech star is refusing to sign an extension to his contract which has 12 months left to run.

Grygera said: "I know nothing specific. Tottenham are a high-quality team but England would not be my first choice, although I am not saying no."
