Arsenal are amongst a host of clubs showing an interest in French international striker Olivier Giroud.

The Montpellier hitman has been in sensational form this season, scoring 15 goals in 21 Ligue 1 games to alert teams from across Europe to his abilities.

Napoli and Palermo are both eager to bring the player to Serie 'A', whilst second tier Italian side Torino are also considering an ambitious raid on the player after sending scouts to the Stade de la Mosson, according to TuttoSport.

Currently second in the French top flight, La Paillade are thought to value their two-cap international at around £15 million, and want to keep the 25-year-old on the books in a push for Champions League football.

The Gunners are tracking his progress closely though, with scout Gilles Grimandi confirming Giroud is one of a number of 'interesting' players on the Emirates Stadium radar.

Grimandi also intimated that there are 30 potential targets currently on Arsene Wenger's radar.

"Always we look at interesting players and we are following Giroud," Grimandi told Le 10 Sport.

"He's one of those we're looking at, but we are looking at between 20 and 30 players in Europe and South America."
