Arsene Wenger is set to face Arsenal shareholders after initially postponing the traditional Q&A in May.
Goal.com reports that the Gunners boss will be grilled by fans on key decisions for the first time since almost walking out on the London club after an explosive meeting last year.
The Frenchman allegedly faced serious questions about his future for the first time since he joined the club in 1996.
Shareholders were said to have criticised the 60-year-old for Arsenal’s inability to land a trophy for a number of seasons, and the failure to invest more in the squad.
Goal.com continues to report that Wenger branded some of the questions “disgraceful” as he was pressed on whether he had held talks with Real Madrid.
Supporters will now have their chance to question the erudite manager on several issues at the Emirates on September 16, including how the Gunners missed out on Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
Elsewhere, Wenger will not face an FA charge after speaking out against Stoke City’s “rugby” tactics last month.
According to The Telegraph, Stoke boss Tony Pulis was so incensed by the comments that he wrote to the FA to express his dissatisfaction.
However, the FA have concluded that Wenger does not have a case to answer.
