Wayne Hennessey has given credit to his attacking team-mates for the victory over Sunderland even though his penalty save changed the game.
Wolves scored less than a minute after Hennessey had kept out Sebastian Larsson's spot kick and he had to calm down Stephen Ward before he could start the counter-attack.
Hennessey said: "Wardy came to try and jump on me I was like 'get out get out' because I wanted to get on with the game.
"The plan before the match all week was to try and set a high tempo so as soon as I got the ball it was about getting out to the lads to get thing moving. I thought they were brilliant on Sunday."
Hennessey has saved three out of the last four penalties he has faced and insisted that it was all about doing your homework.
"You just have to be ready and prepared and normally you know who is taking it and where they go," the Welsh stopper explained. "But sometimes they change their mind at the last minute, as I did on Sunday."
The goalkeeper has been one of the stand out performers for Wolves this season and is happy with the way he is playing.
He said: "I'm pleased with my own form. For the team we just need to try and creep up the table.
"The games are coming round thick and fast and we've got Manchester United next and to get anything against them would be superb."
