Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has played down rumours of a possible move back to the Premier League.
Tottenham and Liverpool have been reportedly interested in the Ghana international but he has insisted he is happy to stay at the European Champions for the time being.
The 25-year-old told GTV: "I'm staying. I have two years remaining on my contract. I love the city, the club and I'm sure about staying.
"I had a great relationship with Jose [Mourinho] and I know it would be the same again with a new man in charge.”
"Now, we have another great coach, [Rafael] Benitez, and I am looking forward to working with him," he added.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp worked with Muntari while the pair were at Portsmouth and is keen to link back up with him to bolster his squad.
Spurs are currently preparing for Champions League football and Muntari would bring in some much needed European experience.
Whether Benitez will want to keep Muntari will be the defining factor, though, as he has been heavily linked with both Javier Mascherano and Angelo Palombo recently.
The Anfield club had been looking into the possibility of a swap deal with Esteban Cambiasso for Argentina captain Mascherano but have also mooted Muntari as a transfer target.
