Wigan manager Paul Jewell should know within the next 48 hours if a deal can be agreed with West Brom for Nathan Ellington.The Latics tabled a bid on New Year´s Eve for the Baggies striker, believed to be around £2million. However, it is understood Albion are holding out for closer to the £3million they paid Wigan for the services of the 25-year-old in the summer of 2005.Jewell is also desperate to strengthen his strike force, and agent Tony Finnigan told skysports.com: "We will see what happens in the next 48 hours, but I do expect some sort of outcome one way or another."
