Chairman Milan Mandaric has admitted Portsmouth are interested in signing Benfica star Nuno Gomes.The south coast club are in the hunt for a new striker and have been linked with Nicolas Anelka and Emile Heskey so far this summer. But it now appears that manager Harry Redknapp has set his sights on Gomes who scored 15 goals for Benfica last season and helped them to reach the last eight of the Champions League."For now, I can only say that we have interest in Nuno Gomes," Mandaric told Radio Renaissance. "He is a quality player and we know there are more people interested in him."
