Manager Ally McCoist believes Nikica Jelavic showed once again how important he is to Rangers by grabbing a double to secure a 2-0 win over Hibernian in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League.

And he insists the decision will be his to make if any clubs make a bid for the Croatian hitman in January. Jelavic was the subject of a failed £6.5million bid from Leicester in August and was this week linked with a move to Liverpool when the transfer window re-opens next month.

Asked if it will be his call if offers come in, McCoist said: "Absolutely - I don't think there is any doubt about that. I would imagine we will be having this conversation for the next three or four weeks."
