Bolton manager Gary Megson spoke of his immense "satisfaction" after seeing his side knock out Atletico Madrid to reach the last 16 of the UEFA Cup for the first time in the club´s history.

Wanderers held Atletico to a goalless draw in the Spanish capital to progress through 1-0 on aggregate following their narrow victory at the Reebok Stadium last week.

"There is a lot of satisfaction in getting through against a team like Atletico Madrid, playing against some of the best players in Europe," said Megson, whose side will face Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in the last 16.
