Aston Villa skipper Olof Mellberg believes the expectation levels on his shoulders to produce top-rate performances every week is the reason why he comes in for criticism from David O´Leary.Villa boss O´Leary has not been afraid to verbally attack the Sweden international in public, most recently after Villa´s 3-1 reversal at Manchester City last month. But the Villa boss also praised his showings in the recent clashes with Sunderland and Charlton and on Saturday Mellberg was again a solid figure in the single-goal success over Charlton.Mellberg is confident Villa are starting to become a side who are again difficult to break down as they gear up for Tuesday night´s Carling Cup clash at Doncaster. He said: "I feel in the main I have had a good season. I have made one or two mistakes but overall I have been consistent."
