How quickly fortunes can change in football! Just a couple of months ago, Chris Coleman's job as Fulham boss was reportedly under threat as the Cottagers appeared to be heading towards a relegation dogfight. However, three consecutive wins, including last Saturday's first away victory of the season at Manchester City, has seen the club secure their Premiership status with something to spare and now former Wales defender Coleman is being linked with the jobs at both Newcastle and Charlton. With just two matches remaining, against Sunderland and Middlesborough, Fulham could conceivably improve on last term's 13th place finish and givemefootball's Mark Shail got the thoughts of 23-year-old full back Moritz Volz.

Q:IS IT FAIR TO SAY IT'S BEEN A BIT OF A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE AT FULHAM THIS SEASON?

A:Yes it has, but to secure our safety is a good feeling and we've managed to put together an important run of form at the right time. Now we're looking to finish the campaign strongly and take some momentum into next season.

Q:HOW DO YOU VIEW THE LAST TWO MATCHES AGAINST SUNDERLAND AND MIDDLESBOROUGH?

A:We go into those two matches full of confidence because we've been playing much better recently. We will be aiming to win both games and end the season on a high.

Q:YOU MUST HAVE BEEN PLEASED TO FINALLY GET THAT ELUSIVE FIRST AWAY WIN LAST WEEKEND?

A:Yes, it's been a bit of a crazy season in that respect – at home we can look like one of the top sides in the league, but on the road we just haven't managed to show the same level of form. But it was nice to get three points at Manchester City and we will certainly be looking to improve our away form next season.

Q:YOU MUST FEEL FOR THE LIKES OF SUNDERLAND, WEST BROM AND BIRMINGHAM?

A:It's never nice to see clubs relegated but the Premier League is very competitive and you need to be on top of your game on a regular basis to survive. It must be pretty hard for a big club like Birmingham to go down, because it looked like they had established themselves in the top flight over the last couple of years. If you compare Birmingham to Fulham, they have had much more money to spend on players but their relegation just shows you have to keep improving every year.

Q:HOW HAVE YOU ENJOYED YOUR FIRST THREE SEASONS AT FULHAM?

A:I've enjoyed it very much and I will be looking to improve my game again next year. I can't say for myself, because I've played all my football in England, but when I speak to other players from the continent they say the Premiership has the highest tempo compared to all the other leagues around Europe. There's a real emphasis on playing an attacking, positive style - I really like playing my football here.

Q:YOU MUST HAVE BEEN DELIGHTED TO SEE YOUR FORMER CLUB ARSENAL REACH THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL?

A:I think it's fabulous. They have suffered a bit in the league this season, by their very high standards, and that's put a bit of pressure on them to win the final to guarantee them a place in the Champions League again next season. I hope they do it, because everyone knows they have not fulfilled their potential in this competition in the past, but now they are just one game and one win away from pulling it off.

Q:HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE LEFT ON YOUR CONTRACT AT FULHAM?

A:I've got one year left on my current contract and am hoping to have a good season because I haven't fulfilled all my targets here yet. Hopefully next year we can produce our best form more consistently and challenge for a place in the top half of the Premiership table.
