Middlesbrough youngster James Morrison has pledged his international future to Scotland despite being born in England. The midfielder, 21, has represented England at under-19 level and had been tipped to play for former boss Steve McLaren´s side one day, but Morrison, whose grandparents were from north of the border, has revealed how national team coach Alex McLeish convinced him to represent Scotland instead."After having a chat with Alex McLeish I have chosen to play for Scotland," he said. "I was born in England and I believe I could do a job for them but it was a question of how long I wanted to wait. But I´ve got the chance to help Scotland now and I´m really looking forward to pulling on the shirt."
