Everton boss David Moyes hopes to sign a new contract with the club within the next fortnight.

The Scot has been expected to agree terms on a new deal for several months, but admits that bringing new faces to the club has been his priority and the reason for the delay.

Moyes, speaking on the Toffees´ US tour ahead of Wednesday´s friendly with Chicago Fire, said: "Hopefully in the next week or so I will get it (the new contract) tied down and get it done."
