Steven Davis has signed a new three-year contract with Aston Villa after putting last season´s injury nightmare behind him.The Northern Ireland international was dogged by ankle problems during 2003-2004 but came back for this current campaign determined to be a success.That hard work has paid off with Davis making his full debut in a man-of-the-match performance against Tottenham in November and then earning his first cap for his country against Canada.
