Aston Villa midfielder Gavin McCann is set to be out until at least the start of November after undergoing further knee surgery.Manager David O´Leary claimed the former Sunderland player would be sidelined "for between six to eight weeks" after having an operation on the same knee that troubled him last season.It had been initially hoped that McCann, a £2million capture in the summer of 2003, would be available within two weeks. But the 27-year-old has clearly been troubled by the knee - he had an operation in January - and he could miss a minimum of seven more matches.
