Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha could be set for a return to the first-team squad after injury.
The 22-year-old had a 61-minute run-out for the reserves in the 3-1 victory against Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
It was a boost for Onuoha - and manager Mark Hughes - following a six-week absence because of a leg muscle problem.
